Cr Tony Mileto
Cr Tony Mileto’s career started in Forbes, where he worked in General Duties and served as a Police Student Liaison Officer. Later, he transferred back to Orange, taking on roles as Branch Programmer at the Orange Police Community Youth Club and then returning to General Duties, along with a specialised unit assignment. These experiences reinforced his dedication to serving the community.
In addition to his professional work, he spent years supporting local youth and mental health initiatives. From mentoring young people in times of hardship to advocating for the installation of 15 blue benches across Orange, his focus has remained on creating a strong support network for mental health and suicide prevention.
As President of the Orange & District Football Association for 14 years and of the Orange Ex-Services Soccer Club for 29 years, he also dedicated his time to building a vibrant sports community. His long-term service as President of the Orange Ratepayers Association reflects my commitment to representing our residents effectively.
Since being elected as a Councillor in 2017, he has worked to shape Orange as a place where families thrive, businesses succeed, and residents feel supported. His experience on the board of Central West BizHQ has further strengthened his connection with the local business community, helping to drive economic activity and growth. With these experiences, he is excited to lead Orange toward a bright future, bringing our community’s voices, priorities, and dreams to the forefront of our city’s development.
