Mr Brett Stonestreet

Brett Stonestreet was appointed as Griffith City Council's General Manager in August 2011. Brett has over 40 years’ experience in local government, a significant period of that time as CEO, Group Manager or General Manager.

Since taking up the General Manager role Brett has maintained and driven annual operating surplus each year for Griffith City Council.

Brett has a big picture vision for Griffith, strategically building a better City to enjoy now and into the future. He recognises that residents in Griffith deserve every opportunity afforded those in larger centres and works tirelessly to achieve positive outcomes.
