Mr James Roncon

Armidale Regional Council’s General Manager James Roncon has had over twenty-three years of experience in senior leadership and executive management roles across public and business sectors. 

Prior to his appointment at Armidale Regional Council as General Manager in January 2021, he was the General Manager at Broken Hill City Council for nearly five years, and has been General Manager at both Cowra and Carrathool Councils. In addition to these roles, Mr Roncon has also worked in Director positions with the ACT Government.

Through his extensive career, Mr Roncon has demonstrated his passion for regional Australia and is excited to work with other councils to give country NSW a voice.
