RCNSW ADVOCATES FOR A BETTER DEAL - nOV/Dec 2021

Despite the restrictions, the Regional Cities NSW Board and Secretariat have been busy putting our priorities on the table, via virtual meetings with a range of key stakeholders.  

We hosted the Hon Paul Toole MP Deputy-Premier, Minister for Regional NSW, Regional Transport and Roads and his office on a number of occasions and continue to engage productively with government to ensure that the infrastructure investment needed in regional cities is given the right priority.

 We have continued to meet with local members across NSW, hosting discussions with Janelle Saffin MP Member for Lismore, Justin Clancy MP Member for Albury, Jenny Aitchison MP Member for Maitland, Phillip Donato MP Member for Orange, Dr Joe McGirr MP Member for Wagga Wagga and Helen Dalton MP Member for Murray to discuss affordable housing shortages, population planning and regional policy.

We have also met with representatives of the NSW Environment Protection Agency and Energy Corporation of NSW regarding the management of renewable energy installations.
